At the NYU Media Research Lab we do many projects involving people interacting with computers, and using computers to interact with each other. In this talk I'll survey some of these areas, including interactive animated characters that have moods and personality, robot tabletop vehicles, new kinds of 3D display devices, interfaces for kids, ways to create virtual on-line worlds, and lots of other things. There will be many fun demos.
